Little known fact; this blog started out as Centsibly Saving. (You might see that watermark). It was set to be a coupons and deals blog. I was gonna teach classes and offer webinars. I spent a ton of time (and money) building it; starting when Liam was just 2 months old.
I didn’t start with a good theme or framework so it was hard and I spent more time learning and writing code than writing posts. It wasn’t long before I hated it ALL; couponing and blogging! You’ll also learn that my life unfolded much differently than I anticipated. You can read my uncensored retrospection series, beginning with X-Men Origins.
From 2010-2016 my own life felt like my adversary, with punches faster and stronger than Mayweather. Somewhere around 2016, I decided to have my blog better and more honestly reflect my life. I was no longer a super couponer and hadn’t been for a while. (I ain’t got time for that). Since 2011, my life was about special needs, homeschool, and home therapies. In January, I made the final transition to renaming my blog, Liam and Glo; Living and Learning with Trisomy 13 and Autism. A clear, simple, and accurate description of our everyday.
I struggled for a long time; trying to find my niche (everyone says find your niche). With a lot of labels comes a lot of niches. Despite frequent feelings that I don’t belong in any given niche, I KNOW none of that shit really matters. We have our defiant fists up with all our tribes.
